The Seven Elements of a Creative Personality (Lifehacker)

I’ve been reading an article on Lifehacker about the personality traits normally exhibited by creative people. These include hunger for originality, volatile personal relationships and “being a pain in the ass.”

In other news, bears have begun their protest at being typecast and have started shitting in car parks.

Here’s a few I’d like to add to the list:

  • “Buddy, could you spare a dime?”
Have you ever seen an artist who liked doing his accounts? Yeah, me neither. We’re not exactly astute at the whole balancing of the cheque book thing that you normals seem so efficient at.
  • Procrasturbation
Making coffee, building the better mousetrap, designing sandwiches, or just plain YouTube trawling. We’ll do anything if it means not having to produce anything. Makes you wonder how any of us make a living at all…
  • Go home, Picasso… you’re drunk!
From vino to vodka, beer to brandy, and numerous interchangeable middle men… we’ve all got a monkey on our back when it comes to some sort of upper, downer, shot or chaser. And it doesn’t always stop at the Hooch!
  • Like, Comment and Subscribe!
Lest we forget, now we all have blogs! We can Tumble, Tweet and Google the crap out of our lives to avoid doing any sort of actual work. Which reminds me, I’m pretty sure I should be writing something…

Want to contribute your own idea to our little list? Lets hear what you’ve got in the comments!

(You don’t have to mention “Over-Sexed, Yet Under-Equipped…” cause it’s a given!)
